Google+ rolls out a dashboard to manage pages

If you manage more than one business page on Google Plus, there hasn’t been a good way to get an overview of all of your pages.  Switching between them is easy enough, but it was difficult to get a high-level view of all of your pages. This has just changed with the addition the new “page manager” which is a great step up.  Instead of just showing each page and giving you a link to manage it, each page now has a nice collection of information including:

  • Total followers
  • Last post
  • Notifications
  • Quick link to view page managers
  • Quick link to switch to the page

Here’s what it looks like:

If you don’t have your website on Google+, the time to do it is now. According to Global Web Index (via dustn.tv), Google+ has passed Twitter to become the second largest social network around (behind Facebook, of course).  The days of calling it a “ghost town” are long gone, and it’s become a serious place to interact and do business.
