How to crop and resize images in Windows

I often have people ask how they can quickly crop and/or resize pictures in Windows.  I use a free program called Paint.net (found at getpaint.net) that does a very nice job.  Here’s a quick video showing how it works.

Of course, this only works in Windows.  If you have a Mac and have suggestions on a similar program for OSX, please leave a comment to let people know about it.

Update: This video is now also available over on A Brighter Web.
