Cool new iPhone app to allow the blind to “see” money

This is just cool.  An new iPhone app called the “LookTel Money Reader” allows blind users to point the app at any piece of American currency and it will tell you what the value is!

In light of great new apps such as Google Goggles, it shouldn’t be a surprise to see an app like this, but it’s appears to be very slick.

Also, as GOOD points out, the issue of a blind user selecting an app on their phone isn’t a problem thanks to an app from Apple called VoiceOver that helps with accessibility for those with impaired vision.
