Facebook is changing the rules again

If there is one thing that facebook does well, it is keeping us on our toes; and sure enough they’ve done it again.  Last week a new guideline was introduced stating “ads and sponsored stories in News Feed may not include images comprised of more than 20% text.”  This change has been implemented to prevent business from using text-heavy cover images that resemble ads.

Many businesses were confused about this new rule so we’ve created the diagram below to show several options for text placement on your cover image. Don’t be caught with a text-heavy cover image — facebook has the right to remove your page without notice!
