Brazil’s routing garnered 35.6 million tweets during the game itself, and at peak volume, 580,166 people were tweeting about it at the same time.
LinkedIn is introducing a new app: Connected. According to LinkedIn, users will be able to check for updates and get background information on those they might cross paths with during the day. The app will offer profile updates, job changes, work anniversaries, birthdays and key business interests. Currently IOS only. Android version coming soon.

Google’s Chromecast updates to allow mirroring between Android devices and TV. Google’s $35 device could originally only cast content from devices using apps that had Chromecast support built in. Now, anything from an Android device will be able to appear on TVs.
