STEM Day at Kincaid Elementary

STEM Day

Mickey and I had the awesome opportunity to spend a morning at Kincaid Elementary School’s “STEM Day” last week to share our thoughts on how Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (“STEM”) are important skills for what we do here at GreenMellen. Alongside other businesses, including medical professionals and representatives for companies such as Coca-Cola and IBM, we were able to speak with roughly 100 fourth and fifth graders in the two hours we spent at the school.

We’re strong believers in education, from working with young people to inspire them along the right path, to using venues such as local meetups and other groups to share knowledge with area colleagues.

We thank the staff of Kincaid Elementary for giving us this fun opportunity, and hope to do it again next year!
