Enhance Your Data Analysis with AI

Artificial intelligence (AI) is familiar within the technology realm and is not going anywhere. It can be a useful tool in many aspects of someone’s business; it can streamline various business processes. Today we are discussing ways AI can help in the role of a Data Coordinator.

What Tools Have Included AI?

Some of the tools used by a Data Coordinator at GreenMellen have begun implementing artificial intelligence into their platforms. While many tools incorporate AI, GreenMellen uses these specific ones.

1. DataBox

DataBox implements AI by offering performance summaries for metrics and databoards. DataBox also uses a Chatbot as an AI agent to provide effective, efficient, and responsive customer service 24/7.

In addition to the AI agent, customer support staff are still available to provide a human customer service experience for questions that may go beyond the Chatbot. This function is very helpful when you need assistance creating new metrics, designing new boards, or need confirmation on what DataBox can do.

2. Clarity

Clarity leverages AI to summarize key findings from heat map data. For recordings, Clarity offers the option to summarize either the top 10 recordings or a custom selection with summarizations for successful achievements, unsuccessful attempts, and key takeaways.

For heat maps, Clarity uses AI to summarize each web page and provides insights into user behaviors and key takeaways. This ability is beneficial when you need some extra guidance after you have done your own analysis and digging.

3. Google Analytics 4

One of the ways Google Analytics 4 (GA4) utilizes AI is by reviewing custom insights from daily data anomalies. When there might be a change in the data or a unique trend, the “Insights” section on the Reports Snapshot dashboard can share that info with you in a digestible way.

GA4 provides pre-built and customizable insights that a data analyst can utilize. This too is a great way to see what the data reveals and what may be a good addition to your analysis.

4. Sprout Social

Sprout Social has included AI features that predominantly help with social media marketing efforts but it has also implemented some data analysis integrations that offer custom reports and reporting enhancements.

Some enhancements include advanced filtering, selectable metrics, and more for content types and tags in the Post Performance section.

Why Should You Consider Using The AI Features In Tools?

The tools that have implemented artificial intelligence into their platforms have embraced the evolving program to provide enhanced user assistance. Artificial intelligence does not replace the human aspect of a data analyst’s role, rather it provides some extra assistance and insight.

Using the available tools promotes growth, knowledge, and flexibility for diving into and analyzing data. Using AI implementations within marketing tools does not replace all of the other things that data analysts do for clients and a business as a whole. Artificial intelligence is changing and evolving which means that while it can be a beneficial tool to use, it also needs to be reviewed and balanced.

What Should You Consider When Using AI For Data Analysis?

As mentioned in another GreenMellen post, “‘[f]rom chatbots to predictive analytics, AI is helping businesses to improve efficiency, targeting, and personalization”. However, remember that while artificial intelligence can be a useful tool, it is continuously evolving.

Using AI as another tool in your arsenal can allow for ease and growth without the replacement of the human experience. Sometimes AI is not always right, so collecting, recording, reviewing, and analyzing the data yourself is still necessary. The assistance that AI implementations can provide allows for different perspectives and points of view that can help refresh your mind or guide you to see through a different lens.

Why Does This Matter?

Since artificial intelligence has entered the world, it has been seen and used more and more. Its presence will remain as technology continues to adapt, change, and grow. As companies and platforms adjust to working with artificial intelligence and implementing it into their platforms for relevancy and ease; it is beneficial to consider how these adjustments can help you in your role.

Artificial intelligence can help in many roles and businesses by providing answers faster, resources quicker, and insights easier. Not everyone uses AI as an everyday tool but it is a tool that is readily available and can be useful. Whether it is helpful to your role or not, it is important to remember that this is still a fairly new tool that can be found at the tip of your fingertips whenever you are ready to try it.
