Anna Griffin Inc. is an internationally-known, high-end gift, stationery and craft brand located in Atlanta, Georgia. For over 23 years, this brand has created award-winning prints and products featured on HSN, Better Homes and Gardens, and Martha Stewart Weddings.
When they came to GreenMellen for a new eCommerce website, they wanted to create a better user experience for their loyal customers, giving them a site where they can interact with products, image galleries and articles.
- Challenge
In 2017, Anna Griffin, Inc. decided to invest more resources into their B2C business by upgrading their online store with features and visuals that appeal to their customer. Their original eCommerce site, AnnaGriffin.com, was built on a complex content management system (CMS) and was facing a number of issues. Since Anna’s blog was built separately on WordPress, they wanted to transfer the existing blog to a new, WordPress-powered eCommerce site.
With the details laid out, we worked alongside the Anna Griffin team to create a seamless website that would meet their goals, as well as today’s digital standards. - Solution
After learning more details about their needs, we discovered this website project needed the following:- Seamlessly integrate Anna’s WordPress blog with the new eCommerce website for a smoother backend and user experience
- Keyword research to organically attract their customer base to their site
- Product syncing with their legacy inventory platform, Navision
- A section dedicated to Anna Griffin wholesalers where they can reorder merchandise for their stores
- Integration with their current email automation platform
- A gallery of projects, each of which spotlight related products
To build these features, we executed our website design/development process, and our development team took special care to create the link between WooCommerce and Navision. with the Navision platform.
