WordPress has just released version 3.4 (codenamed “Green”, like us!) with a handful of very nice improvements.
Theme Customizer
For themes that support it, there is now a pretty slick theme customizer build-in. It allows you to change backgrounds, colors, logos, etc, and see the changes in real-time.
Tweet embeds
Similar to how you can easily embed videos, you can now quickly embed tweets in your posts in a similar manner. For example, here is my tweet when I shared with users that WordPress 3.4 had been released:

HTML captions
If you use the image captions feature, you can now include HTML in those captions to allow you to include links, bold text, italics, etc.
Speed and stability
Beyond that, there are a ton of speed and stability improvements in WordPress 3.4. While this isn’t a critical security update, we still recommend that you upgrade your sites as soon as you’re able to.
